[Quarl's Crash]

great

I enjoyed it quite a lot. The fbf animations were nice, and so were the backgrounds. The joke wasn't very good, but the "badoom boom chhh" made it funny haha. And I love minus the bear. Great work, I wonder why it's getting a score under 3/5, it deserves more than that.

I know, im really upset that this happened. I worked really hard on the toon too. (funny thing is I didn't even think of the ending until after I animated the crossing of the road scene). Im working on a new cartoon with music by minus the bear. It's gonna be a love story and im going to put more effort in to it so hopefully it doesn't get screwed over as bad as this one. That was actually good for a clock movie. And, the robotic voice was actually appropriate!!! I loved the fog effects. Great job

I bet you put a lot in effort into this one. Must have taken you a loooong time to draw all of this, ugh. The only few things I have to complain about is the lack of background in the fighting scene. And, sometimes, the music was a little bit abruptly stopped, perhaps using only one song (the good one) and let it play would've been better. Though, I love Explosions in the Sky. Good job.

i was dissapointed when i compressed the audio it became skippy, but NG has a strict 5MB filesize limit and i did the best i could.

the_emu, I think this IS frame by frame. The backgrounds might not be, but the characters were certainly made frape by frame. Anyway, nice job on doing it. I see some action scenes from equilibrium, too bad that movie sucked. The sound was okay, but at some places it was a little bit choppy. Like at the end, after the guy loses his face (pun intended), he falls on his knees. The sound you put there seemed a little bit too heavy, and then you used the same exact sound one more time when the guy died. Using some different sounds would've been nice, I know they're sometimes hard to find/make/edit but I think it's worth it.
Since I think the backgrounds weren't made frame by frame, maybe you could elaborate it a little bit more, like putting a few more details to the buildings, etc. But that's no big deal.
Your movie was really well done, and I enjoyed watching it twice in a row.

Oh and for the replay button, if you don't already have the code, here it is :

on (release) {gotoAndPlay("Scene 1", 1);
}

click on your button and put that in actionscript. Replace 'Scene 1' by the name of your first scene, and that's it.

Not as funny as the ep.1 but still very good. Did you use the sprites of a game called Graal Online or something? I used to play that game when I was younger, it sucked a lot but it was addictive.

a few things

It was really cool and all, but I hated the flashes you use. They were so annoying. And, I thought the first battle involving ryu and the other guy was more interesting than the final battles.
